The tools listed on this page are the same tools available in the tarballs found on the
Pre-Registration page. An additional category called Other Testing Tools is included at the bottom of the page. This page is provided as a quick reference and for those who only need to get just a few of the tools instead of the entire Server/Workstation tarball or who would like to have a look at the README files for the various tools before beginning their pre-testing.
Where possible the URLs to the author/program's home page are provided as links. In all cases a URL to the download area/page
for the latest version is available. The KeyLabs (KeyLabs) tarballs contain all the original documentation and files which came with the program (not always much) and the KeyLabs README files.
Multiple READMEs are provided for each tool when possible. The Author's README file is the unaltered, original README
file from the author of the program. The KeyLabs README file contains the instructions on using the tool as it is used in the KeyLabs tests.
Any dependencies of the test tools (programs or libraries required to use the tool) are also listed with the tool and include a link/URL to the site where you can acquire these programs/libraries.
The test tools are arranged in category depending upon the testing for which the tools are used: Server/Workstation test
tools are grouped together, etc. The same tools may have multiple listing if they are used in multiple test categories.
An additional category called Other Testing Tools located at the bottom of the page lists tools of value which KeyLabs is expecting to use in the near future. URLs are provided and at least one link to documentation for the program is provided for your previewing purposes.
All the tools used in the KeyLabs Linux-Tested program are Open Source as are all the programs listed on this page. These
tools are provided by the worldwide Linux programming community.
