This document presents the results of the Linux Compatibility testing with RedHat 7.2, Open Linux 3.11, TurboLinux 6.5, and SuSE 7.2 on the ASUSTek A7S333 workstation system.

AppLabs' Linux compatibility testing of this system showed the ASUSTek A7S333 to be compatible with RedHat 7.2, Open Linux 3.11, TurboLinux 6.5, and SuSE 7.2. The ASUSTek A7S333 is awarded the AppLabs Linux Compatibility mark.

Testing Notes

When testing on TurboLinux 6.5, the audio functions were not detected during a normal installation. Users must download the driver file named: cmlinx.zip . After downloading this file it is then necessary to compile and install it in order for audio to work. The driver is available from: ftp.asus.com.tw/pub/asus/misc/audio
