Notes and Observations:
The sound card did not offer complete functionality with either Red Hat WS 3.0 or SuSE Pro 9.1. A status of Pass* was achieved for Basic Sound because the audio was made to work (using the ALSA driver), however the audio was slightly garbled and slowed down (slow motion audio). This also being the reason behind a Failure for the Advanced Sound test. A status of Pass* for the Serial Ports and the Parallel Ports is indicative of the ports not working initially with the OS and functionality is achieved if the kernel is recompiled.
