    Notes and Observations:

RedHat Enterprise Workstation 5 Update 1 required manual installation of LAN driver v10.50.1.3, downloaded from: http://www.marvell.com/drivers/driverDisplay.do?dId=153&pId=38

In the driver package, there is a install.sh. You must have a gcc compiler (c/c++ compiler) which can be installed while installing with the operating system. Open a terminal and execute the following commands

    #cd "the path of install.sh"
    #cp /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.46-0.12-obj/i386/smp/scripts/mod/modpost /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.46-0.12/scripts/mod/

Make sure the file copied correctly. Go to the directory where the driver is, and open a console. Execute the following commands:
    #./install.sh
    then chose "1"
    then chose "y"
    then chose "3"

The LAN card should work. If not, review the above steps.
