This document presents the results of the Linux Compatibility testing with RedHat 6.2 on the Samsung SmartDensity 821 Quanta system.
Exodus Performace Labs' Linux compatibility testing of this system showed the SmartDensity 821 Quanta to be compatible with Red Hat 6.2. The Samsung SmartDensity 821 Quanta is awarded the AppLabs Linux Compatibility mark.

The SD821Q mainboard uses the VIA chipset. Tested system contained two (2) Intel Pentium CPUs clocked at 1 GHz.

System was tested with two Ultra SCSI 160 MB drives.
The floppy drive is a generic 1.44 MB.
The system has no parallel port and one (1) 16550a serial port.
There are one (1) each of PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports.
Other ports include: Zero (0) ISA slots; two (2) PCI slots; and zero (0) USB ports.
