This document presents the results of the Linux Compatibility testing with RedHat 6.1 on the Shuttle, Inc. AV61 Version 1.4 system.

AppLabs' Linux compatibility testing of this system showed the AV61 Version 1.4 to be compatible with Red Hat 6.1. The Shuttle, Inc. AV61 Version 1.4 is awarded the AppLabs Linux Compatibility mark.

Hardware Details

The following table defines the hardware configuration details for the tested system.

Hardware Configuration Information
Motherboard and Processor	The mainboard is a AV61 Ver 1.4 VIA:VT82C693A. Processor is an Intel Pentium II clocked at 350 MHz.
Display Adapters	An onboard ATI Rage Pro video chip.
I/O Busses	The bundled hard drive was a SCSI-type IBM Ultrastar 18ZX with 18.2 GB of storage space. The CD-ROM is CD-2050E. The floppy drive is a Teac 1.44 MB. The system has one (1) parallel port and two (2) 16550a serial ports. There are one (1) each of PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports. Other ports include: One (1) ISA slot; four (4) PCI slots; and, one (1) AGP slot.
Network Interface	Intel model E100B.
Included Peripherals	Keyboard as tested is a 101-key generic. Mouse as tested is a Logitech PS/2 mouse.
