This document presents the results of the Linux Compatibility test, which included the installation of TurboLinux and Red Hat 6.0 on the Viglen.

AppLabs' Linux compatibility testing of this system showed the Viglen to be compatible with TurboLinux and Red Hat 6.0. The Viglen is awarded the AppLabs Linux Compatibility mark.

Hardware Details

The following table defines the hardware configuration details for the tested system.

Hardware Configuration Information
Motherboard and Processor	The mother board uses the Intel C440GX+ Beta for P2.0 chipset. This system contains 2x PIII Xeon 550 MHz processor. The processor as tested was clocked at 550Mhz.
Display Adapters	There is an Onboard Cirrus Logic GD5480 display adapter in the system.
I/O Busses	There are six 32-bit PCI slots. This system includes one ISA slots. The system includes a standard floppy drive interface. There are two USB ports present. There are PS/2 style keyboard and mouse ports present.
Network Interface	Intel 82557
Included Peripherals	The included CD-ROM drive is a SCSI - Matshita CR-508. This system used an US English 101 key keyboard. This system used a PS/2 two button mouse. The system as tested has one SCSI Fujitsu 3182LC drive.
Miscellaneous Hardware	There are two 16550A compatible serial ports present. There is one bi-directional parallel port present. There is one 1.44 megabyte floppy drive present.
