This document presents the results of the Linux Compatibility testing with TurboLinux 6.0, Caldera OpenLinux 2.3, RedHat 6.2 and SuSE 6.4 with the Iomega ZIP 250 (Parallel) removable media drive.


AppLabs' Linux compatibility testing of this system showed the ZIP 250 (Parallel) to be compatible with TurboLinux 6.0, Caldera OpenLinux 2.3, RedHat 6.2 and SuSE 6.4. The ZIP 250 (Parallel) is awarded the AppLabs Linux Compatibility mark.

Testing Results

The following table defines the hardware as tested in this system by AppLabs and provides pass/fail results.

Notes

1. Drive will not be detected during install or reboot on any of the tested distributions. After reboot, issue the command:

modprobe imm

and the drive will become available as a /dev/sd* device.
